Everything you need to know about using Taskton — for users and project creators.

What is Taskton?

Taskton is a Web3 quest-and-earn platform. Projects create quests with real rewards (tokens, NFTs, points, whitelists). Users complete social tasks — follow on X, join Discord, subscribe on YouTube — to earn.

All verification is automatic. Taskton connects directly to Twitter, Discord, Telegram, and YouTube APIs to confirm task completion.

Publish checklist

Before publishing, you need: a title, a description, a reward type selected, and at least 1 task. Token/USDT/USDC/NFT quests also need a funded reward pool.

Reward Tiers — Mixed Distribution

Taskton lets you reward different user groups differently within one quest. This is powerful for early-adopter incentives.

Example setups

Tiered USDT
$500 pool → First 10 users get $20 each, next 40 get whitelist, everyone else gets 100 points.
Early adopter mix
First 50 users → USDT reward, next 200 → Whitelist spot, unlimited rest → Points.

How to set reward tiers

1
In campaign creation, Step 2 (Rewards), select "Tiered Rewards"
2
Add tiers: set "first N users" and their reward type + amount
3
The last tier applies to "everyone else"

Fraud prevention: Once you set a USDT/USDC/token amount and fund the pool, the amount locks and cannot be changed.

Communities

Your community is your project homepage with Quests, Tasks, Leaderboard, and About tabs.

SettingEffect
PublicListed on /communities, anyone can find it
PrivateHidden from listing, direct URL works. Quests still appear on /explore

Access your private community anytime from Creator Hub → Community → "My Community".

Community Tasks

Standalone tasks separate from quests. Always-on, individual completion, instant points. You set the reward amount (1 to 100,000) and reward type (Points, Token, USDT, USDC, NFT, Whitelist).

Wallet & Login

Supported: MetaMask, OKX, Coinbase, Trust, Bitget (EVM/BNB), Phantom/Solflare (Solana), UniSat (BTC), Sui Wallet, TON wallets.

You can connect multiple wallets to one account. Adding a wallet never removes your Google/Twitter login. Taskton never asks for your private key.

XP, Points & Leaderboard

Each task = 10 XP. XP determines your Level and quest eligibility. Community Tasks give custom points (also added to global XP). Leaderboards rank by total XP.

API for Projects

FAQ — Users

Is Taskton free?
Yes, completely free for users.
Why can't I join a quest?
You may not meet eligibility (min XP, Discord role, NFT holder, country). Complete more tasks to earn XP.
My task shows failed. Why?
Make sure you actually completed it and the relevant social is connected in Settings. Wait a few seconds — APIs have a delay.
Can I connect multiple wallets?
Yes. Settings → Connected Wallets. Your XP stays the same across all wallets.
Is my wallet safe?
Yes. Taskton only reads your address, never your private key or seed phrase.

FAQ — Creators

How much does it cost?
Free during beta. You only fund your own reward pool.
How does auto-verification work?
Taskton connects to Twitter/Discord/Telegram/YouTube APIs to check task completion in real-time.
Can I reward different users differently?
Yes — use Tiered Rewards. First N users get USDT, next N get whitelist, rest get points. See the Reward Tiers section above.
Can I change the reward amount after setting it?
No. Once a USDT/token amount is set and the pool is funded, it locks to prevent fraud.
How do I see who completed my quest?
Edit Campaign → Participants, or use the API: GET /api/v1/quests/{id}/participants for wallet addresses.
Can I make my community private?
Yes. Select Private when creating/editing. Hidden from listings but quests still appear on Explore.
