Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you connect a wallet or create an account, we collect your blockchain wallet address, username, and email address (if provided)
- Profile Information: Profile pictures, social media handles, and other optional profile details you choose to provide
- Third-Party Account Connections: If you connect accounts such as Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, or YouTube, we collect information from those platforms to verify quest completion
- Communications: Messages, feedback, or support requests you send us
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and device identifiers
- Usage Data: Pages viewed, links clicked, quests participated in, tasks completed, and timestamps of your activities
- Blockchain Information: Your wallet address, on-chain activities, and interactions with the Services on supported blockchains
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: Information collected via cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4)
Information from Third Parties
- Social Platforms: When you connect Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, YouTube, or other platforms to verify quest tasks, we receive relevant profile and activity data from those platforms
- Blockchain Networks: Publicly available on-chain data associated with your wallet addresses
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing Services: Operating the platform, verifying quest completions, tracking XP and rewards, and maintaining your account
- Quest Verification: Verifying that social media tasks (follows, retweets, etc.) have been completed using connected third-party account data
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting and preventing bot activity, sybil attacks, and fraudulent quest completions; protecting the integrity of reward distributions
- Platform Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve features, fix bugs, and develop new services
- Communications: Sending service-related notifications, updates, and (with your consent) marketing communications
- Legal Compliance: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
- Anti-Bot Protection: Using your activity data and wallet history to identify and filter out bot accounts and ensure fair reward distribution
3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Quest Creators (Projects): When you participate in a quest, the project creator may receive information about your participation, wallet address, and task completion status. Quest creators are responsible for their own privacy practices
- Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, fraud detection, customer support)
- Leaderboards: Your username, XP totals, and quest completion counts may be displayed publicly on community and global leaderboards
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to a successor entity
- With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit consent
We do not sell your personal information to third-party advertisers.

5. Blockchain Data
Blockchain transactions are publicly recorded and immutable. Any information you submit on-chain (such as wallet addresses and transaction history) is publicly visible and cannot be deleted by us. We may collect and display your publicly available on-chain activity in connection with quest verification and leaderboard rankings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in a reasonable manner.
Note that information recorded on public blockchains is outside our control and cannot be deleted.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to protect your own wallet credentials and use strong, unique passwords.
In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@taskton.com and we will take steps to delete such information.
